Media Spotlight: Broadcast Media Interview with CNBC
Here at Cherish PR, we love a broadcast media interview. For clients broadcast media interviews can often be that golden opportunity that they feel proud of. One recent broadcast interview we are particularly proud of is a primetime slot with Spoon Guru’s Chairman, Andy Clarke, on CNBC.
CNBC has a whopping average of 104.9 million viewers worldwide, which is mostly made up of senior corporate executives, financial services professionals and high net worth individuals, perfect for Spoon Guru’s B2B outreach.
We secured the opportunity for Andy to be a guest on CNBC’s morning show ‘Squawk Box Europe’, the pre-market news and talk program where big names in business and politics tell their stories and discuss the latest news. Andy joined the panel to talk about Spoon Guru’s recent US launch alongside the latest retail news – including Amazon’s deal with French supermarket Monoprix, which was announced that very morning.
This was a great positioning for Andy, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the retail industry having previously held the position as CEO of UK superstore ASDA (part of the Walmart group). This meant Andy was well positioned to offer valuable insight into the retail industry, both in the UK and internationally.
Having recently partnered with Tesco – who has implemented Spoon Guru’s TAGs technology into its digital shopping platforms – as well as officially launching in the US in March, the UK tech start-up are looking to grow their corporate brand partnerships, connecting with retailers around the world.
Securing this high profile, televised interview was a really proud moment for the Cherish PR team. Andy handled all the serious questions like a pro while positioning Spoon Guru as a game changer in the fast paced, ever-evolving retail industry. Ultimately we have a very happy client – and that is what we strive for. It’s why we do what we do!
